Product Description

Primula vulgaris 'Oakleaf White', commonly known as Oakleaf White Primrose, is a hardy, compact perennial that brings a natural elegance to gardens with its finely shaped oak-like leaves and stunning white flowers. Its early flowering period, from late winter to spring, makes it a great choice for brightening up borders, containers, or woodland gardens when most other plants are still dormant. The plant is well-suited to shaded areas, offering gardeners versatility in planting locations, from cool, shady spots to partially sunny areas. Growing to a modest height of 0.5-1m, this perennial works well in smaller gardens or as a low-maintenance ground cover. It thrives in moist, well-drained soil and requires consistent watering during the growing season to maintain its healthy appearance. With regular care, including mulching and deadheading spent flowers, this primrose rewards with beautiful early-season interest and a long-lasting display of delicate white blooms. Ideal for cottage gardens, woodland edges, or shaded spots. Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth. A hardy perennial plant with unique oak-shaped foliage and delicate flowers. Compact growth, reaching a height of and spread of up to 0.5m. Flowers from late winter to spring, providing early-season interest. Requires regular watering, particularly during dry spells, to maintain its look.
