Thompson & Morgan Penstemon Huskers 1 Seed Packet (35 Seeds) Red

This unusual Penstemon offers maroon/red (occasionally bronze/green) foliage when grown from seed, coupled with contrasting spikes of blushed pink flowers. A beautiful and useful source of late summer colour for borders. Ideal for cottage gardens wildlife gardens and cut flower gardens. Thompson & Morgan is delighted to work alongside the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to offer special seed collections to home gardeners. The Kew Collection and The Kew Urban Garden Collection have been specially selected by The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Sow February to April. Sow in pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Seal container inside a polythene bag and keep at a constant temperature of between 15-20C (59-68F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination.
