Pea ‘Kelvedon Wonder’ is an easy to grow, early-flowering sugarsnap variety, specially bred in Britain for it stringless pods. The plants are compact and neat, making them perfect for container growing, will produce clusters of mid green pods that grow up to 8.5cm in length! The plants also show great resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew. The pods are completely stringless and boast a deliciously sweet flavour, however you choose to eat them.Direct sow Sugarsnap peas outdoors from March to June, once the soil as warmed. Choose a weed-free position on moist, fertile, well drained soil in full sun. Sow Sugarsnap seed in flat bottomed drills at a distance of 5cm (2") apart, and 4cm (1½") deep.
