Thompson & Morgan Forsythia X Intermedia Goldrausch 9Cm Pot X 1 Yellow/Golden

This Forsythia is a yellow flowering shrub, with the bare stems of this plant cloaked in bright golden-yellow flowers. Flowering when nothing else in the garden is blooming, this will add colour through March and April. This compact plant is ideal for small gardens, and can be grown in a shrub border, trained as a colourful hedge or grown against a wall. Grow Forsythia plants in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Feed and water Forsythia plants regularly until fully established. Container grown plants will require annual dressing with a balanced, slow-release fertiliser and regular watering throughout the summer months. Border grown plants will require less attention. In late spring after flowering has finished, prune Forsythia by cutting back all flowered shoots to a healthy pair of leaves. On established Forsythia plants, cut back up to a fifth of the oldest shoots to their base, to encourage healthy new growth and improve flowering. Apply a mulch of well-rotted manure or other organic matter around the base of the plant after pruning. Hardy shrub. Position: borders. Height: Up to 250cm (98in). Spread: Up to 250cm (98in). Supplied as 1x Forsythia Intermedia Goldrausch in a 9cm nursery pot. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
