On arrival at 20.00, you’ll be met by prison staff, let into the prison through the huge wooden gates and shown to your traditional Victorian cell for the night. As part of this experience, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the prison featuring stops such as themed cells, the segregation unit and more. After the tour, you’re free to spend your time as you wish – whether that’s exploring the site, retiring to your cell, ghost hunting or playing games. The original prison kitchen will serve hot meals and snacks until 22.00. You are woken early in the morning to the smell of fresh coffee and a hearty breakfast before being released back into the world at 07.00. How many people is this experience for? The vast majority of the site is accessible but there are the traditional stairs between the landings which may cause difficulties.
